A movie title sequence recreation for the 1983 movie, The Outsiders. To maintain the essence and nostalgia of the original sequence, color correction of new found images and font selection were vital. Landscape scenes from rural Oklahoma, where the movie takes place, are color corrected to match the orange-gold hue of the overall sequence. The orange-gold hue of the sequence references the Robert Frost poem "Nothing Gold Can Stay" read by the main character in the movie. The handwritten typeface used for the main movie title reflects the friendliness and closeness many viewers of the film feel towards the main characters.
